Financial institution is currently growing very rapidly. The forms and types are now various with all the uniqueness and problems. However, knowledge of the user community has not as fast as the growth of these financial institutions.
Similarly, the availability of human resources qualified in accordance with the qualifications needed to enter the working world financial institutions are still far behind. In fact, one important lesson drawn by the crisis in Asia in 1998 was the need for understanding of the activities, functions, management, and risk in banking, non-banking financial institutions and financial markets. In addition, the function of central banks in conducting strategic formulation and implementation of monetary policy, regulation, and banking supervision and regulation and supervision of payment systems also need to be understood.
